The word yoga in Sanskrit simply means union and this is exactly what partner yoga aims to achieve – a union of two people. Partner yoga is powerful way to strengthen communication and listening skills, while enhancing trust, and growing a deeper bond in just about any kind of relationship, whether it be a friend, family member, or significant other. In this workshop movement, postures, breath, touch, and play are designed to provide an array of benefits.

September 7th | bryan kest: power yoga master class | 4:00pm-6:30pm | LAGUNA niguel

Power Yoga Master Class: A Bryan Kest Master Class is a short immersion in the “Practice of Yoga”.  Practicing yoga means strengthening not just the body but even more importantly, the qualities of our mind that actually have the largest impact on our physical well-being. Strengthen qualities such as: calmness, patience, focus, gentleness, gratitude, humility and acceptance, while weakening qualities such as: judgment, competitiveness, distraction, reaction, and criticism (just to name a few).  Qualities of mind that have the biggest impact on our health and happiness are like anything else in the sense that if you feed them, they will grow big and strong and if you don’t feed them, they will weaken and die.  Now since our physical practice is such a fertile environment for most all of these qualities to arise, our physical practice becomes an opportunity to strengthen the qualities we want to be strong and to weaken and eradicate the qualities we find harmful.  If you want to know how I do this, you will have to come and see because words cannot replicate the experience that’s a culmination of almost 40 years of my own yoga practice called Power Yoga. Class consists of 30 minute lecture and 2 hour asana and meditation practice.

September 21st 2024 | fall equinox sound bath with megan & christine | 6pm-8pm | LAGUNA niguel

Fall Equinox Cacao Ceremony: Nourish Your Spirit, Embrace Change As the autumn leaves begin to fall and the air grows crisp, join us for a transformative two-hour journey celebrating the Fall Equinox with a Cacao Ceremony.

In the soft glow of candlelight, we will gather to honor this season of transition, letting go of what no longer serves us and welcoming renewal. Our practice begins with a serene candlelight meditation or flame gazing, allowing us to attune to the energy of the Fall Equinox and the natural rhythms of change. As we gaze into the flickering flames, we invite introspection and reflection, setting the stage for releasing that which no longer aligns with our highest good. Following this meditative start, we’ll transition into a blissful gong and crystal bowl sound bath, accompanied by other grounding instruments. Let the harmonious vibrations wash over you, soothing your body, mind, and spirit. In this tranquil space, we’ll surrender to the present moment, allowing ourselves to be fully immersed in the healing power of sound. After the sound bath, we’ll come together to savor freshly made Cacao, lovingly prepared to open our hearts and deepen our connection to ourselves and each other. Allow the rich, ceremonial brew to warm your soul and ignite your inner light as we embrace the transformative energies of the Fall Equinox.

In this workshop you will experience the gentle flow of intention-setting and soulful connection. Together, we’ll cultivate a sacred space for honoring the changing seasons and embracing the beauty of letting go and inviting in new beginnings. Join us as we sip, reflect, and set intentions for the season of Fall, guided by the wisdom of the Cacao plant and the ancient traditions of ceremony. Come as you are and allow yourself to be enveloped in the warmth and love of community as we embark on this journey of self-discovery and transformation.

All workshops are non-refundable. You may early cancel your reservation within 24 hours of the event start time and use the credit towards another workshop of the same price point. If you cancel within 24 hours of the event it will be considered a late cancellation and you will lose the credit.

At LiveMetta Yoga’s community events, discover a diverse array of experiences aimed at fostering deeper connections beyond the studio walls.

Join us as we explore together, expanding our horizons and embracing the spirit of community in every gathering.
