2026 Weekend Yoga Retreat
Seeds of Renewal: Cultivating New & Hopeful Beginnings
LiveMetta invites you to our 2026 Retreat ♥︎
Connect with nature and community on our Spring 2026 LiveMetta retreat, set in the peaceful beauty of Ojas Retreat Center on the Santa Rosa Plateau in Murrieta, CA from April 16th – 19th.
We invite you to join us for a long weekend away to return to the roots of your practice. We will be reexamining the ways you move, reframing how you think, and renewing your relationship with yourself.
In choosing to join us, you plant a seed that will be cultivated in our time together. Through deep attention to the foundations of your practice, whether new or seasoned, we will explore the elements that nurture long-term growth.
Even ground. Deep roots. A wise oak tree or a field of flowers. You, as you are.
All practices are all levels and thoughtfully designed to meet you where you are in your physical and spiritual practice.
Meet your Instructor: Nicolette David
Nicolette David, hailing from Catalina Island, has been a teacher of languages, literature, biology, and movement since 2001 but found her life’s work in 2008 when she reluctantly took her first yoga class. In “corpse pose,” or savasana, she was moved by the methods and magic of yoga to hold tenderly stored grief, anger, anxiety, and the ultimate unknown that is Life. The combined effects of moving, breathing, paying attention, getting quiet left an indelible memory and to be part of helping others find a moment, a minute, a day, or continued clarity and calm is the inspiration of Nicolette’s teaching.
She has led 200 hour trainings, workshops, and retreats for various studios locally, nationally, and internationally. She was a mentor and guest lecturer for Yogaworks’ 300 hour professional program and is the creator of Virtue & Vinyasa, a contemporary 300-hour 9 month continuing education program.
Her personal studies are in Anatomy, Somatics, Philosophy and she enjoys drawing connections between the inseparable body/mind and Spirit. Her classes focus on alignment not for the sake of getting things “right” but with the intention of aligning to our essence within.
Her teaching is full of heart, wisdom, and the hope that students FEEL themselves beyond the physical realm using their breath and eyes that see from, and into, all possible perspectives.
She is wife to Dr. Amstutz and mama to 2 girls and a Great Dane. She gets loads of off the mat yoga practice staying calm and connected in the wild outback of parenting.
